Moreover, the chemistry book is truly amazing. It is not very detailed but is great for last-minute revisions. Whenever anyone speaks of such diseases in front of me, I immediately recall these explanations and contribute to the conversation. In the biology book for instance, they teach you about the mechanism behind a normal healthy process such as ventilation, and they then introduce common abnormalities such as emphysema, diabetes, lung cancer, etc. I feel as though they are written so beautifully and present all the information you need in such an eloquent manner. Hello! Personally, I heavily rely on the oxford course companions for my biology HL and chemistry HL. I hope this helps and good luck with your revision Please note that I did not indulge in any other types of books (Pearson, Cambridge, etc.) the Oxford course companions are just ideal in my opinion. In the HL chapters for instance, all the material can get confusing but thanks to the small reminders and tips dispersed all over these pages I struggle much less. Although some may find it annoying, I enjoy the thorough analogies, and explanations provided in that book.
